SCI, in collaboration with Helivation UK, provides, at all management and operator levels, a full spectrum of services available to the NHS, regarding the operation of helicopters to and from NHS sites.
The aim of our service is to support NHS organisations in significantly increasing their operational effectiveness through the implementation of strategic training and support services at HEMS bases and sites throughout the UK.

When designing or modifying an aviation or military system requiring high performance, crew and maintainer training is one of the key parameters which have an impact on performance.
In most military environments, it is now common for some of the training to be carried out using synthetic training devices. Such training is generally more cost effective and permits emergency procedures and elements of tactical training to be carried out which, by their nature, could not be performed in the real world due to operational or cost constraints.
